Maxwell Designs Diaper Bag Product Review

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Maggie of Maxwell Designs (of Toots n Tots) to see if she could send me one of her fabulous designer diaper bags. Of course I said yes! When I received my package it was beautifully packaged and not only did I receive a diaper bag but a wet bag and changing pad as well. My experience with the diaper bag has been amazing…in fact I am so in love with my new diaper bag and receive so many compliments!

Quality & Workmanship
The Maxwell Designs Diaper Bag in Large that I received is made of organic cotton and is handmade in Canada. I was completely impressed by the workmanship, quality, and style of the diaper bag. My order came nicely shipped with literature about the bag and the manufacturer; Toots n’ Tots.
Ease of Use
I found the diaper bag easy to use. I would recommend some sort of fastener (either a velco-style closure or snap) to keep the flap closed however the design lends itself to very easy access of anything that you might need. I LOVE the multiple pockets where I put a couple of snacks, small board books, mini first-aid kit.The large diaper bag fit 5-bumGenius sized AIO in large, a change of clothes, a Maxwell Designs Wet Bag in size small, and a Planet Wise Wet Bag small stuffed with Thirsties Fab Fitted Wipes. I usually pack 6-bumGenius sized AIO’s when I go out for a day with Riley so if the bag was a bit large (or even available in a X-Large) that would rock!
Uniqueness of Product

Diaper Bag opened with cloth diapers, change of clothes, wet bag.

I have been unable to find a diaper bag that has so many awesome (and necessary features). Each diaper bag comes standard:

  • They have an adjustable strap to fit all sizes.
  • 2 outside side pockets – great for keys and a phone
  • 2 inside under the front flap, large front pockets.
  • 4 inside deep pockets with matching fabric trim.
  • Insulated bottle holder.
  • Bags are naturally anti-microbial.
Value
The diaper bags are made of organic cotton so compared to a standard diaper bag of course these would be higher. The diaper bags start at $44.95 and go up to $74.95. A good value for a handmade, organic cotton diaper that is Made in Canada. (YEAH!)
